WMAC Structure

Organisation

WMAC is a democratic, legal, Non-Profit Organisation, recognized by the Austrian Government (ZVR-Zahl 450157435). Its purpose is to support the worldwide community of Martial Arts with events, education, information and staff and develop standards for competition and DAN rules.

WMAC country chairman

The members and Institutes of each country choose a representative (= Chairman of Representatives), who represents the country in the WMAC Board.

WMAC sport commissioners:

Each recorded sport discipline, has a commissioner that acts as a global representative for the discipline and serves as a contact person for members and athletes.

The commissioners are autonomous and are only subordinate to the Board of WMAC – except IRC (International Rules Committee). Members are elected or co-opted by the Board by a simple majority.
